Have you noticed a change in interior and exterior paint choices lately? Leading paint experts are saying that 2019 will be reminiscent of the 1970's in terms of paint trends. We have started seeing this change in several of the new model homes we recently toured. White cabinetry, that we have been seeing for several years, was replaced with more muted (pickled) wood tones or darker (painted) jewel tones. The bathrooms had darker vanities and patterned tile, and accent walls were duly noted.  While white walls and white kitchens are still popular, we are seeing designers add caramel or cognac leather furniture, reclaimed wood accent tables, and tons of tactile fabric pillows and throws in jewel tones, allowing our eyes to "land" in the space.
