Introducing Phase II of Eagle Mountain's Most Exciting Park!
25 additional acres are now open in the Cory B. Wride Memorial Park. Amenities in this new phase include a splash pad, zip lines, swings, a massive playground, including slides, rickety bridge, a cargo net, rope climbers, and musical equipment, pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts, a small and large pavilion, and a festival field. These are in addition to the baseball diamonds, restrooms, spectator stands, and a concessions building. This is the second of three total phases planned for this "jewel of the city" and with a dedicated budget of 5.3M, this park is more than just a recreational spot, it's a destination for people of all ages and abilities to come and improve their lifestyle. While the third phase has not yet been finalized, when all is said and done, the Cory B. Wride park will encompass a total of 65 acres.
The Cory B. Wride Memorial Park, originally named the Mid-Valley Park, was renamed in 2015 in honor of Sgt. Cory B. Wride, a member of the Utah County Sherriff's Office, that was killed in the line of duty in Eagle Mountain on January 30, 2014. This park is the first in the City of Eagle Mountain that is within 10 minutes of anywhere in the city.
